Frederick High School senior Kris Marshall has announced his commitment to continue his academic and track & field career next year at Alderson Broaddus University. Frederick High School senior Isaac Bynum has committed to continue his education and track and field career at Davidson University. Bynum, who this winter won the 2019-2020 FCPS, CMC, and regional championships in the 55m hurdles made his announcement last week. Frederick High School senior Thomas Silva has been awarded the Frederick Steeplechasers Memorial Scholarship. Silva who was a member of the Cadets cross country and indoor/outdoor track teams was awarded $2500. According to the Steeplerchasers website… In the spring of 2013, Steeplechaser member, friend, devoted husband, and father RickO’Donnell lost his battle with bile duct cancer.
