FHS junior Mario Martinez was named to the Frederick News-Post 2019 All-County Boys Cross Country First Team the paper announced this weekend. Fellow junior Carter Stevenson was named All-County honorable mention. On the girls side junior Nasareth Henderson and sophomore Rebecca Toms each were selected FNP All-County honorable mention.
21 Fall sport student-athletes were named to Central Maryland Conference All-Spires Division Teams this week. The CMC recognizes student-athletes on All-Conference teams in all sports with the exception of Football. Frederick High School’s Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country teams will compete tomorrow Saturday 11/09/19 at the State Championship Meet at Hereford High School, the girls race will start at 10:00 am and the boys race will start at 11:00 am with an awards presentation from 12:30-12:55. Frederick High School’s girls cross country team finished Thursday’s 3A West Regional Cross Country held at Thomas Johnson high school in 2nd place.
