Thomas Silva awarded FSRC Memorial Scholarship by the Frederick Steeplechasers

Frederick High School senior Thomas Silva has been awarded the Frederick Steeplechasers Memorial Scholarship. Silva who was a member of the Cadets cross country and indoor/outdoor track teams was awarded $2500. According to the Steeplerchasers website… In the spring of 2013, Steeplechaser member, friend, devoted husband, and father RickO’Donnell lost his battle with bile duct cancer.

Martinez, named to FNP All-County First Team. Three other Cadets honored

FHS junior Mario Martinez was named to the Frederick News-Post 2019 All-County Boys Cross Country First Team the paper announced this weekend. Fellow junior Carter Stevenson was named All-County honorable mention. On the girls side junior Nasareth Henderson and sophomore Rebecca Toms each were selected FNP All-County honorable mention.

21 Cadets named to CMC Fall All-Conference Teams

21 Fall sport student-athletes were named to Central Maryland Conference All-Spires Division Teams this week. The CMC recognizes student-athletes on All-Conference teams in all sports with the exception of Football.
