On the evening of January 2nd 1909, for the first time, eight students from Frederick High School took to the basketball court at the Frederick Y.M.C.A. to play the local Young Men’s Christian Association team. The boys high school team dressed in all black tank tops, white shorts, and black and white striped socks consisted of C.H.
