Attention Seniors!
Cap and Gowns have arrived! We are getting prepared for seniors and their families to come to FHS next week.
On Senior pickup day, FHS will not have extra gowns to sell.  While seniors are not required to purchase a cap and gown this year, you may still order one by contacting Balfour directly at 443-791-0808.  Orders will be sent directly to your home with an arrival time of 4 weeks.
Seniors will have the opportunity to buy a yearbook when they come to pickup their diploma after graduation.  If you already ordered a yearbook, it will be ready for pickup next week.
All Seniors should sign into the 2020 Schoology group to take a survey about what they would like to do for a post graduation celebration where we can give the Cadet Class of 2020 time to get together in person as soon as health regulations permit.
On your schedule pickup day/ time please be aware
  • Please have your name printed clearly on a sign in your car window as you pull up so we can quickly identify you.
  • Several stations will be setup along the sidewalk in the front of the building.  Please remain in your car as you drive up to each station to pickup and drop off materials  Stations will include drop-offs for: Athletics, Chromebooks and Hotspots, Media Center Materials, and Classroom Materials.  The last station will be a pickup station for Cap/Gowns, Awards, Senior Shirts and Yearbooks.  We will also have requested personal materials ready for pickup at this station
  • If you would like to get your picture taken in your cap and gown on our stage, once you reach the end of the pickup/drop off line pull into the student lot and wait for a staff member to come to your car.  It is important that you remain in your car until you are prompted to get out.  Each student along with no more than 4 family members will be escorted to our stage where you can get a picture taken in your cap and gown that will be used in our virtual graduation ceremony. Upon exiting the car all students and family members must be wearing a mask and maintain proper social distancing. Students may remove their mask prior to getting their picture taken. If any student is uncomfortable coming into the building for a picture, please reach out to Dr. Franceschina and we will be happy to schedule an alternate time this summer where you can come to FHS and take a cap and gown picture
  • After our graduation ceremony we will arrange a time as soon as possible when students can return to FHS to pick up their diplomas.
