Frederick High School Senior Danyael Bryant was committed to continue her academic and lacrosse career at Division II Barton College.
Bryant a 4 year varsity member of the Cadet girls lacrosse team informed Bulldogs Head Coach Regan Denham following a visit to the schools campus in Wilson, North Carolina. “I liked the area. The campus was also really pretty and the girls on the team seemed really nice. It seemed like a good place for me to fit in plus it’s a good distance from home but not too far. Bryant said when asked on her decision. She also added she is excited to have Zaxby’s and Bojangle restaurants near her new home.
Danyael who will study biology at Barton has played all three field positions for FHS over her four year career but is viewed primarily as a midfielder. During her sophomore year she helped Frederick capture their first sectional title and a trip to the regional finals. She was also recruited by Mars Hill, Piedmont, Averett, Warren Wilson.
