Varsity Football · Weedon commits to Shenandoah University


Cadet dual threat play maker Fontaine Weedon has announced his commitment to join the Shenandoah University football team this upcoming fall.

The 5’10” 185 pound Weedon caught 22 passes for 348 yards with 5 touchdowns for the Cadets this past fall during his senior season.  He also started a game at quarterback, throw for 212 yards in 3 touchdowns for FHS.

Slated to play receiver for the Hornets, Fontaine said he commented to Shenandoah because “I loved the environment and felt really comfortable around the team on my visit.” Fontaine said,  “I loved being on campus and the college is a great fit for the major I want to pursue.” Weedon added.
